It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of committee member and colleague Simon King. Simon joined the CLSA committee in 2017 and throughout his time with us was a voice of reasoned arguments, considered views and strong intellect. He had an intrinsic ability to get to the heart of an issue and treated everyone he met with fairness and compassion. I have no doubt that he was a force to be reckoned with in court and that there are many clients who benefitted from his desire to ensure that the right result was achieved. He was someone on whom both clients and colleagues and we were lucky to have him as part of the committee for many years. We are all saddened by his death and wish to extend our deepest sympathies to his colleagues at Elliott Mather Solicitors, his friends and most of all to his family of whom he was so proud.
