CLSA snap survey on prisoner delivery

23 February 2026

CLSA survey on prisoner delivery Monday 23rd February – Saturday 28th February 20266

The Law Society Gazette, 16th January 2026, quoted SERCO claiming that 99.8% of prisoner deliveries are “on time”. GEO AMEY claimed a 99.7% on time delivery rate.

This simply does not chime with the experience of practitioners.

Please complete the following survey for the week 23rd – 28th February to allow us to challenge this data.

Please email your completed sheet by 4 pm on Monday 2nd March to allow us time to collate the information ahead of a meeting on 5th March. Email completed sheet(s) to admin@clsa.co.uk. Please include in the subject line “PECS survey”.

Forms can be completed per firm or individually, they can be anonymous but we would prefer a name of practitioner or firm. No client data, please, save initial of surname.

Please help us correct the narrative that prisoners are delivered on time and assist in the campaign for change for the benefit of all of us working on the front line of criminal justice.
