Zoe was one of 1200 people from across the UK to receive an honour in the lastest list. Zoe works for the law enforcement side of HMRC where she is a deputy director of offshore corporate and wealthy in fraud investigation. She leads a large UK team, leading complex tax fraud investigations.
Commenting on her OBE title, she said: “I am extremely grateful for the recognition, it is an absolute privilege to lead teams who pull together to tackle fraud against the Exchequer. Investigating complex tax crime is hugely important in demonstrating to the public that regardless of wealth, resources or power, everyone must play by the same rules. Tax crime is not victimless, it steals money from the vital public services we all rely on and playing a part in stopping that is something that I am immensely proud of.”
The CLSA would like to congratulate Zoe on this incredible recognition of her hard work and impressive legal career.
