CRIMINAL LAW SOLICITORS' ASSOCIATION

Finding a Higher Court Advocate

There was a time when only the bar represented clients in the Crown Court. Those days are long gone and there is now a cadre of experienced and highly qualified Solicitor Advocates willing and able to undertake work in the Crown Court.

Some prefer to limit their work to guilty plea cases as they gain confidence and experience.

Using our search facility below you can find cover at a Crown Court for a case.

The QASA scheme is due to be implemented shortly and we have asked advocates to predict their QASA grade and give an indication of whether they will undertake trials or just known guilty pleas. The CLSA does not take responsibility for the accuracy of the predicted grade and when actual grades are known then they will be shown.

It is for the instructing lawyer and the advocate to discuss suitability for case and fees.
